FR-2402* 1928 Series Twenty Dollar Gold Certificate Star Note. A slightly mis-handled example that made its way into a Choice About Uncirculated P.C.G.S #53PPQ holder. This was previously graded in 2009 by the original P.C.G.S. company. It came to auction then in 2009, in a CLCT original P.C.G.S holder at the 53PPQ grade, where it realized $4025.00 at a Heritage Auction at the Fun show, January 9th, 2009. An original premium paper quality replacement note that truly is NOT offered as much, correct…….. having the added qualifier versus NOT on this type of note is a major bonus. Great looking note, centered well, has a light fold down the middle of the note, touch of handling.
