Description
This FR-1914-E 1988 Series One Dollar Federal Reserve note from the Richmond District was folded before the face and overprint stages of printing. When opened, it reveals a large unprinted section covering most of the lower left side of the note, visible inside its custom-sized third-party holder. Graded P.M.G #35, very fine to extra fine, it’s just one point shy of a full extra fine. A striking display of a printing error in this holder.
