100‑Note Consecutive Star Pack – 2017A $1 Federal Reserve Notes – New York District – B00764601* to B00764700* – Choice/Gem Uncirculated – BEP Banded
A true modern rarity: a full 100‑note consecutive star pack from the New York District, running B00764601\* through B00764700\*. These notes are Choice to Gem Uncirculated, sharp, crisp, and as fresh as the moment they left the BEP. The centering is strong across the run, embossing is bold, and the paper quality is exactly what collectors expect from a premium star pack.
This is a BEP‑banded 2017A Series star pack, pulled directly from a sealed brick of 1,000 stars we opened ourselves. With the BEP transitioning away from traditional star‑note replacement production, packs like this are becoming significantly harder to acquire — and the window is closing fast.
The BEP confirmed in its March 2023 News Release that new LEPE printing equipment will no longer produce star notes. Replacement stars will only continue temporarily on legacy equipment during the transition period. Once that equipment is retired, star notes are done. Future straps will be non‑sequential, with gaps, and without replacement stars.
This pack represents the end of an era — a clean, consecutive, BEP‑banded star pack from the final years of traditional star‑note production. Perfect for long‑term holding, investment, or breaking into high‑grade singles.
A premium, put‑away‑and‑forget‑it pack for serious collectors.
