Barker is a village in Niagara County, New York. The population was 533 at the time of the 2010 census. The mail ZIP code is 14012. It is part of the Buffalo–Niagara Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Barker is within the Town of Somerset and was incorporated in 1908. The main crossroad in the town is the intersection of West Somerset Road and Quaker Road (NY 148).

The Somerset National Bank was organized and commenced banking in 1912. A brick building was erected on Main Street. Previous to this time a private bank was conducted by Harvey Hoag on Quaker Road. The Somerset National Bank was purchased by the Niagara County National bank in 1950. The following year it was purchased by the Marine Trust Company of Western New York. A new one-story modern building was erected in 1959 on the same property and the business of the bank was transferred to the new building in February 1960.
