Fr-237 1923 Series One Dollar Silver Certificate with a single digit serial number #2. From the first sheet of #4 notes. A splendid note that just doesn’t get offered enough. Third party graded P.M.G #63 Choice uncirculated with bright white paper, sharp corners, embossing, a mis handled first sheet that has a bump in the top margin. Very hard to see with the naked eye because it’s very minuet. No EPQ destination added to the holder. A rather rare single digit serial number. Let’s take a look at the history of first sheets for this Fr-237 Signature series.

The D2B has not seen daylight in decades and is now freshly graded by P.M.G. Just four first sheets <1-2-3-4> were printed, three of those cut up first sheets got into collectors’ hands. All of them are FR-237 examples. A single digit serial on large size…… I’s been a while since we offered an example.
