B00000001* One of just three known on all series $2.00 Frn’s that were found in the wild. In a pack that was sent to the bank. Not a premium set the Bureau of Engraving and Printing decided to raffle off. From the 1976 Series TO 2017 Series which has a 1976 $2.00 Frn K00000001* grading P.M.G #30, 1976 $2.00 FRN L00000001* grading a P.C.G.S #64PPQ. And this 2009 Series that was found at a Jacksonville Florida bank years ago.
One of just 128,000 printed. A very low print run. These notes are mainly found inside of regular $2.00 BEP packs…replaced with the last two notes as stars. These New York District stars have made their way up to as much as $75.00 + for just a regular star serial number.
With the 1976 Series L00000001* hitting near $35,000.00 in auction in 2013. Mr. Michael Abramson was offering a Bureau Premium District Set of #12 2003 Series $2.00 Frn’s A00000001*-L00000001* FOR $300,000.00. They since were broken up and sold for more than $25,000.00 in a public auction recently. This note was found in the wild, P.C.G.S #45PPQ pure paper quality added to the holder. A fantastic serial one-star note on a $2.00.
