Like most of the shipping bricks of #4000 that were delivered to the banks, this one was taken from the BEP pack and held. Surely, why not, it’s serial #1. Lightly handled, which is common to grab from that first pack printed. Third-party graded P.C.G.S #55PPQ, Choice About Uncirculated with premium paper quality. Centered well, clean inks for this first sheet-printed note, as most are over-inked out of the gate. Coming from the J-A BLOCK. Just a handful are known on 1957-1957B Series.
