FR-1606 1934 Series One Dollar Silver Certificate bearing a 2-DIGIT RADAR serial number. Serial D55000055A. Two-digit radar serial number with zeros and fives. Third-party graded P.C.G.S #63. Choice Uncirculated. Sharp-looking note, bold over-print. 1934 series two-digit radars are few and far between. Somewhere down the pipeline of this one being pulled, it was trimmed. Have no idea why. It sat in a collection for decades and was recently submitted to P.C.G.S for grading only to find out it was trimmed. Remarks on the reverse of the holder “trimmed”. One of the margins was cut. Still, the note having a radar serial number and two digits within the serial number puts it on the map for a 1934 series. Typically, if the note was GEM or problem-free we would have it priced well over $1000.00 plus.
