Description
1999 $20 Federal Reserve Note – BL00000021A – PMG 65EPQ
This 1999 Series $20 Federal Reserve Note (Fr. 2086‑L) comes from the San Francisco district and carries the extremely low serial number BL00000021A — a true Black‑Jack number. This note represents the first‑generation “Big Head” design change, making it a key modern collectible with strong historical significance.
In the early 2000s, we scored a 1999 $10 BL00000001–100A Serial Number 1 pack at the Long Beach Show. Soon after, we added a 1999 series $20 BL00000001–100A Serial Number 1 pack with the same series and matching letters here on the East Coast — an amazing denomination pairing for dedicated collectors. Serial #21 was kept by our supplier for his own collection, and it’s now up for grabs here in a fresh PMG-graded holder.
Recently certified by PMG as 65EPQ Gem Uncirculated, this note displays Exceptional Paper Quality, original surfaces, and premium eye appeal. A wonderful example of a scarce low‑number modern FRN.
