Description

Impressive FR‑1936‑F* — a 1995 Series $2 Federal Reserve Note from the Atlanta District, carrying the desirable low serial F00000019*. PLATE #4. The 1995 Series STARS are unique: Atlanta was the only district to receive star notes, with a modest 1.2 million printed. This example, serial number 19, comes from the earliest portion of that run — Graded PMG 65EPQ Gem Uncirculated, the note exhibits exceptional paper quality, strong originality, and excellent centering. Its sharp, pack‑fresh appearance places it among the finest early‑run stars from this scarce issue. Low‑serial star notes on the $2 denomination are notoriously difficult to locate, and examples this early in the sequence are tightly held. A standout opportunity for collectors pursuing modern rarities, low serial numbers, and premium‑grade $2 FRNs.

*1995 Series FRNS Stars did make short runs on #9999 Sets per District. All serials start with #2000XXXX*. These sets were used as premium single notes as “millennium notes.” sold by the BEP only. The above note we are selling is a BEP printed pack that was shipped from the Fort Worth BEP Plant.
