Third-party graded P.M.G #55EPQ Choice About uncirculated with exceptional paper quality, noticeable center fold, wonderful centering, bright red inks, and sharp overprint. This note was taken out of circulation very quickly upon entering.
This is one of just a handful of Low Serial numbers under #100 on replacement notes for the 1966 Series. We know of just #6, while track and price lists just three. These are known as being circulated as example #42* is graded fine. And uncirculated Serial #37*.
The first pack 1-100 of the 1966 Series (NON-STAR) was broken up and all accounted for. We do see this run of non-stars much more often than its counterparts.
Only a few STAR notes under #100 have come up for air in the past few decades.
