FR-1919-E 1988A Series One Dollar Federal Reserve note from the Richmond District, serial #E53401367I, plate 3/2, features a notable back misalignment. While such errors aren’t extremely rare on standard series and denominations, they’re much scarcer on web-press notes. Web-press one-dollar bills were printed only for the 1988A, 1993, and 1995 series. This example we graded Very Fine Plus, this problem-free note was pulled from circulation and represents a tough-to-find error from a short-lived printing process.
