Description
FR-1974-C 1977 Series Five Dollar Federal Reserve note from the Philadelphia District has a fascinating error. It was folded just before the face print, or you could say “second,” print, leaving a blank area. What makes it impressive is that it was then refolded back to normal and had the overprint applied, resulting in a large missing section that went unnoticed before being cut and shipped. It’s third-party graded P.C.G.S #64PPQ Choice Uncirculated with premium paper quality. From the 74th note sheet in the pack, a sharp-looking note with heavy inking appears, except on the back of the sheet where there was no paper. It’s an attractive note that covers a large portion of being blank for the face print.
