FR-1509 1953 Series Two Dollar Legal Tender has not just one but two errors going on with this example.
If you take the lower part of the sheet, the note below this one, and it was folded upwards covering Thomas Jefferson’s portrait…… it would line right up with covering the right side. Nearly diagonally across the sheet. Now this is where the note got its over-print….(seals-serial numbers-signatures). From there the sheet got cut into pack form and shipped out. Found inside a pack. It’s displayed inside a large P.M.G graded holder with the note folded showing the overprint stamped.
