Fr-1911-E 1981 Series One Dollar Federal Reserve note coming from the Richmond District. A two-piece authenticated error note. Appears a piece of torn currency stock landed on 1st print of the note and made its way through the rest of the printing process into a pack where it was found. The piece of the puzzle fits like a glove, it’s not a major-sized piece but it’s enough to make this one official for having a retained obstruction with the note. We have bought and sold many obstructions on currency, however having the “retained” piece accompanying the error makes it much scarcer and rare to encounter. Third party graded P.C.G.S #62PPQ. Crisp uncirculated with pure paper quality. This note by far is one of the most affordable two-piece error notes we have ever offered in 27 Years online.
