Fr-1911-J 1981 Series One Dollar Federal Reserve note coming from the Kansas City District. A Paper Splice error note consists of two sheets of paper that were torn as part of the printing feed, then being glued back together. Yes, glued together with a green matte double-sided tape strip. After being taped together they are fed into the printing process getting the 1st-2nd-3rd stages of the printing process. Once found in a pack you can see while holding the note into the light the embedded strip of tape printed inside the note holding both parts of the sheet. If the note was two notes below this one on the sheet it would be normal. A small handful exist circulated and uncirculated on $1.00-$5.00-$20.00 FRNS. This note comes special having it overlapping one another and printed on.
