FR-1656 1953A Series Five Dollar Silver Certificate with an obstruction on the right side of the back of the note. You can see where this note had a major part of currency stock attached to the right side of the note, folded up……. Across the “Back printing.” More interesting is the fact that it was part of a printed fold, causing multiple gutters to be shown on the front. Miscut on every margin, the way the angle was created, this silver certificate extra piece of stock, fits just over the blank part of the back printing. (Like a puzzle piece). Third-party graded P.M.G #25 Very fine Plus. This note was put in a custom PMG holder. Labeled…… “Obstruction Piece Included”.  Surely one of a kind to see such an exciting error on a $5.00 Silver Certificate, they just don’t show up often.
