Fr-1935-A 1976 Series Two Dollar Federal Reserve note coming from the Boston District. A very nice-looking example that was third-party graded P.C.G.S #65PPQ, Gem uncirculated with premium paper quality. Serial # A11861480A. P.C.G.S added the stamp to the holder for being part of the Eric P Newman Collection. Newman sold his coins & currency over auctions in 2013–2014 for over $70 million and used most of that money to fund the Newman Numismatic Education Society and its Newman Numismatic Portal to “make the literature and images of numismatics, particularly American numismatics, available to everyone on a free and forever basis. Inverted over-prints on $2 FRN’S are very desirable. They are always ever so popular within the collecting community. This sheet was fed 180 degrees making the seals and serial numbers upside down. An awesome-looking note that sticks out for being on a $2.00.
