Fr-718 1918 Series One Dollar Federal Reserve Bank note coming from the Cleveland District. D9999999A. Third party graded P.C.G.S #50 with no comments on the holder. About Uncirculated.  Nice eye appeal sitting in the holder. A note that only has seven digits in the serial number. Not a true solid serial number bearing eight digits. Though for $1.00-$2.00-$5.00-$10.00-$20.00-$50.00 FRBN’S that were printed. Just one exists, and it’s not a nines.

When you look in your Mike Abramson Fancy serial guidebook you will notice that there’s JUST #1 FRBN “TRUE” Eight-digit solid serial number known. FR-741 1918 $1 FRBN K11111111A Grades fine and sold in 2007 on eBay for $2500.00. 

Just two SEVEN-digit nines exist on FRBN’S. A 1918 $2.00 FRBN A9999999A which realized $21,600.00 in 2020 at Auction, is more than likely paired with the A10000000A today.  An the one we are offering here on a $1.00 FRBN. The closest to a solid nines with the most digits in the serial number.
