FR-482 1882 Series Ten Dollar THE STEELTON NATIONAL BANK OF PENNSYLVANIA

CHARTER #3599 is located in Dauphin County.

1882 Series Brown-Back Ten Dollar National Bank of Steelton. A bank that’s just down the road from the State Capital Harrisburg. A note that features the lowest serial number of them all #1.  There is a total of JUST #6 Large size on this bank. Zero are Brownback’s. The only Brown-back and it’s serial #1. Third-party graded P.M.G #20 Very fine, remarks on the holder note an annotation. Which is a faded partial signature on the reverse of the note at the top right. This note is still very sharp, cut well, and the signatures are all there. Appears it did hit circulation before it was found and saved all these years. A rare national to come across for Pennsylvania.  Signatures are Rosecrans/Jordan.

There are #6 Large known on this bank.  #0 Small size
